The BUIHA have released the schedule for the 2011-12 regular season with the Vikings due to play 14 matches in Division 2 South culminating in the annual Varsity Challenge against the Cambridge Eskimos. Undoubtably the Vikings are aiming to repeat the success of the 2009-10 season where they finished atop the division, before falling to Nottingham in the playoffs. It will not be an easy task with last years winners Bristol remaining in the division and the addition of Cardiff from Division 1. Quite what sort of Nottingham Mavericks team will compete in the second tier remains to be seen with the conspicuous absence of a Mavericks entry into Division 1suggesting that potentially another 'A' team will be battling for the divisional title. One thing is sure, it is going to be a fun season!
